Following the devastating impacts of Tropical Cyclone Idai in Mozambique’s Sofala Province in Mozambique Africa and surrounding regions in March 2019, many rural communities have been relocated to other areas with no infrastructures, rapidly worsening living conditions that were already deemed appalling.
We couldn’t be indifferent and decided to create an non-profit United2Help to be able to help with construction of a small clinic, schools for the needy population.
With Covid on the rise our fundraising possibilities became scarce. We have been helping here and there with our own personal funds with other small projects of food kits distribution to the most vulnerable in Maputo, Beira and Malawi.
With Covid situation much more controlled and most of the countries starting to open for business, United 2 Help embraced a small project of creating 2 classrooms for basic education with a third classroom/space for professional training.
One of our members who is building a church, donated part of the land for this project.
This will help children return their focus to education, as well as provide training for local young people to become bakers, tailors, and tradespeople. Building a school in this area is essential to the long-term stability and prosperity of the community. We are committed to make this happen, but we need your help to do it.
We have already commenced creating two new school rooms in late May but with rising supply costs, we urgently require more funds to complete the project. We need $23000 more to reach our goal and finish the school for the people of this small village in Mozambique. Once this target is set, we will be able to purchase the supplies needed to finish the project and provide a safe, comfortable learning environment for the people in this rural area.
Approximately 60% of the population lives below the poverty level and life expectancy is only 49 years. Nearly half of all children under the age of five are malnourished. Poverty is exacerbated by poor infrastructure, lack of access to education, healthcare, and political instability. That is why our new school is so important. By creating a place for children to learn and young people to gain professional skills, we can help lift them out of poverty and see a brighter future for themselves and their families.
Your generous support is all we need to give these children the life they deserve. By donating to our campaign, you play a significant role in not only their future but that of Mozambique, itself.
We would love to have new members and if this cause is near your heart, please feel free to contact us at info@united2help.org
We have more projects in our sleeve, but we are now concentrated in building this school where 100% of the funds that are donated goes toward the construction of the school. Please, help United 2 Help give the gift of education to the people who need it most.
Thank you,

Our Plan
The classes dimensions were agreed to be 5 meters by 7 meters each for each classroom.
The first building was going to be built immediately.
The plan is to start a gofundme to support the construction as it goes.
